Yoga

Yoga is not gymnastics, relaxation or exercises of contemplation, flexibility, meditation, discipline or empowerment, nor a game, entertainment or a hobby. Yoga is all the above together, without competition, without discrimination, without winners and losers. The unique prize for each practitioner is physical health, emotional well-being, mental balance, and elevation of the soul.

Yoga is a method of bio- relaxing exercises that stimulate the body, fortify the immune system and maintain the physical energy and mental state of the body in high alert. The non-traumatic and non-violent exercises have a very positive effect on the heart, the circulatory, the respiratory, the endocrine, the digestive and the musculoskeletal system. They support both the flexibility and the muscular strengthening of the body. By defending the body with good health, they are an excellent way of preventive medicine.

Breathing is directly related to the autonomic nervous system, the mind and emotions. Conscious breathing means a calm mind, emotional serenity, good will and action. The awareness and strengthening of the respiratory capacity and the organic connection of breathing with movement is the main concern of Yoga, thus offering to the practitioner a sense of mental balance, relaxation and fulfillment.
